Day 2

September 24, 2012

We attempted to get an early start on the day, but with the time change (we are now on Mountain Time) we left the RV park at about the same time. (9:30) Yesterday, Dad mentioned a cheese factory in Idaho that rivaled the Tillamook Cheese Factory.  He had been there before, and wanted to go again.  Craig asked him if he knew what time it opened.  Dad’s reply, “8:00.”  He said that everything opened at 8:00.  Craig checked, and, surprisingly enough, it did open at 8:00.  So, we headed out to the Swiss Village, but no, the road leading to the factory was closed due to road work.  I am on this trip with 3 “boys.”  I repeatedly suggested that we stop and get directions.  But…..no…..this was NOT going to happen.  So, we missed the Swiss Village.

We had a beautiful 420 mile drive through Idaho and the Wasach Mountains.  I really love the scenery in Utah.  It is such a beautiful state.

We spent the night in Evanston, WY, in a nice little private RV park.
