Taking a Break

Trip 2 – Day 22

Wednesday, January 30, 2013

It was a very relaxed day today.  Craig took off with the ATV group for what he thought would be a few hours.  He left around 9:00 and returned about 3:30.  They drove through the desert and ended up at the Patton Museum, ate lunch, and tore around some more before coming back home.

Dad and I stayed at FOY.  Dad read the paper, I struggled with the Internet, we ate, some of us napped, and then we took a walk around the campground.

It is always amazing to see what is lurking around people’s sites.  (Where do these lucky folk find these things?)

Look! It's Yogi at the Fountain of Youth!

We got new neighbors a couple of sites down from us.  Their RV sports what I firmly believe is a “catio” otherwise known as a cat patio.

Yes, typically they are a little larger than this, but in an RV everything is scaled down a bit.  So, dear Kailin, this one is for you.  Oscar’s life would be complete.  He told me this is what he wants to do.  Perhaps you need to hit the open road with your angry little cat sunning his chest hairs of an angel while sprawled out in his very own mobile catio.  It is definitely something to think about……..

Golf cart of the day, interesting in that it is entirely made out of that metal material that is "stamped" all over? (I'm sure there is a name for it.....)
